StoryBeam Kids is a closed-catalog listening app for families. The iOS app does not require an account, payment, camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or user uploads.

Information StoryBeam Kids stores

The app stores watchlist, playlist, and player preferences locally on your device so the listening room can remember your choices. This local state is not an account and is not submitted by you as content.

Podcast audio requests

When you play an episode, the app requests the selected audio file from StoryBeam or the listed podcast/audio host. Those hosts may receive standard technical request data such as IP address, device user agent, request time, and the audio file requested.

Children's privacy

StoryBeam Kids is designed as a parent-safe browsing and listening surface. The app does not provide social features, chat, open search, user uploads, or account creation in this release.
